Account and settings
Signing in
There are three ways to sign in to your account:
- Email and password — the standard sign-in on
/login. - Magic link — passwordless sign-in. Click "Sign in with a link (no password)" below the form, enter your email, and we'll send a one-time link. Clicking it signs you in automatically.
- Google — the "Continue with Google" button.
Open the sign-in link in the same browser you requested it from — otherwise the sign-in will fail.
First run (onboarding)
Every new account — no matter how you sign in (email, magic link or Google) — goes through a short onboarding once. There you pick:
- a username (only if the account doesn't have one yet, e.g. with Google sign-in),
- your learning topics — the domains the adaptive trainer will auto-select,
- your profile visibility — public or private.
You can change all of it later in Settings.
Password recovery
If you forget your password:
- On the sign-in page, click "Forgot your password?".
- Enter the email linked to your account and submit.
- Check your inbox — we'll send a link to set a new password (if an account exists).
- Click the link and set a new password (at least 6 characters), repeating it to confirm.
For security we don't reveal whether an email has an account. The link is valid for a limited time — if it expires, just request a new one.
Profile
Your profile (/profile) shows:
- Username and display name
- Account level and XP bar
- Elo rating and league
- Day streak
- Domain statistics
- Achievements
Other players see your profile at /u/your-username — according to your privacy settings.
Account tier badge
Some players have a Pro or Admin badge next to their name. It appears on leaderboards, profiles, friend lists and clubs. Pro unlocks AI Coach — personalized training analysis based on your answer history.
Staff can assign user and Pro tiers from the admin panel. Admin tier cannot be granted from the app — only directly in the database.
Pro features (AI Coach, Task history, AI mistake explanations) are marked with a gold icon in the sidebar.
Pro subscription (monthly billing)
You can subscribe to Pro on the /pro page or in Settings (/settings). Payments are handled by Stripe — card or other methods available in Stripe Checkout.

After payment you return to settings — Pro access usually activates within a minute (Stripe webhook). If it's delayed, refresh the page.
Staff can still grant Pro manually from the admin panel (e.g. promotions) — that's independent of Stripe.
Administration panel (staff only)
Players with the Admin tier see an Administration item in the sidebar (/admin). From there they can:
- browse and search accounts,
- edit profiles and usernames,
- assign Pro tier (not Admin),
- ban and unban accounts,
- generate password reset links.
Other administrators' accounts cannot be modified from the panel. Every staff action is recorded in an audit log.
Settings (/settings)
Language
Choose Polish or English for the interface. The choice is saved on your account.
Pro subscription
The Pro subscription section shows billing status and a Manage subscription button (Stripe portal) when you have an active subscription. From there you can update your card, download invoices or cancel renewal.
Profile privacy

When a stranger lands on your private profile, they see a notice that it's private plus an "Add friend" button — they can send a request even though they can't see the details.
Shared statistics
Choose which stats others see on your profile (does not affect you — you always see everything):
- Level and XP
- Rating
- Day streak
- Problems solved
- Accuracy
- Domain stats
Leaderboard visibility
You can hide from the global leaderboard while staying visible to friends on the friends board.
Privacy, cookies and consent
The app runs in the European Union and processes data in line with the GDPR.
- On your first visit you'll see a cookie consent banner. Full analytics (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) and Google AdSense ads only start after you click "Accept". Choosing "Only necessary" means no tracking cookies and no ads.
- Ads appear only on calm screens (e.g. dashboard, leaderboards, settings) — never during active gameplay. Pro players do not see in-app ads.
- You can change your choice at any time — click "Cookie settings" in the site footer.
- During sign-up you tick consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You can't create an account without it. Signing up with Google also means accepting these documents.

Achievements
Achievements unlock automatically when conditions are met:

Achievements appear on your profile — and on others' if shared.
Guest progress migration
When you play as a guest and then create an account:
- After sign-in the app offers to migrate progress
- Migrated: XP, domain levels, day streak
- Guest browser progress is merged into your account
Without an account progress is local only — clearing browser data removes it.
Sign out and data
- Log out — in the account menu; server data remains
- Guest data — local in the browser; clearing cache removes it
Dashboard (/dashboard)
The dashboard is your daily hub:
- Level, XP, league and streak summary
- Domain proficiency (with “Improve” links to training)
- Daily and weekly quests
- Recent activity and friends' activity
- Shortcuts to play
