Notifications

Algebro sends in-app notifications (the /notifications inbox) and optional browser push (PWA) when the app is closed.

Enabling push

Open Settings → Notifications section.
Click Enable push notifications and allow the browser prompt.
Push works in production when the service worker is active or the app is installed.

Push requires server configuration (VAPID keys). Without it, only in-app notifications are available.

In-app center

The Notifications page in the community menu shows alert history: streak, quests, daily challenge, invites, promotions and achievements. Unread items are highlighted; tapping opens the linked page and marks the item read.

Categories

You can toggle each category separately:

Category	Examples
Streak	Streak at risk, last chance before midnight
Daily challenge	Reminder when you have not played today's daily
Quests	Quest almost done, weekly quest deadline
AI Coach (Pro)	New report after a session
Social	Friend, club and duel invites
Celebrations	Level up, league, achievements, daily top 3
Return	Gentle reminder after 3+ days away

Action-required invites (friends, clubs, duels) do not count toward the daily push cap.

Quiet hours and limits

Defaults:

Quiet hours: 22:00–08:00 (device local time)
Max push: 2 per day, 8 per week
Min gap: 4 h between pushes (except invites)
Active player: if you played in the last 2 h, motivational pushes are suppressed

Some reminders are scheduled around your typical play hour (from recent sessions).

Turning off

Push: Disable push notifications in settings
In-app: uncheck In-app notifications
Category: disable a specific category in settings
