Quick start guide
A complete walkthrough — from your first game to competing with friends.
1. First game (no account)
- Open the Algebro homepage.
- Click Play for free.
- On the Play page choose:
- Training — to learn the game calmly, or
- Quick play — if you have an account and want ranked play (requires sign-in).
- As a guest, start with Training:
- Click Auto — pick for me or pick a domain (e.g. addition).
- Solve problems — enter the answer and submit.
- After the series you see a summary: accuracy, XP, and a suggestion for next time.
2. Create an account and migrate
- Click Log in in the menu.
- Sign in with Google or email.
- Go through the short onboarding (once, for every account):
- choose a username (3–20 characters; with Google sign-in you set it here),
- pick your learning topics,
- set your profile visibility (public or private).
- If you played as a guest — accept progress migration.
- Set language (PL/EN) at sign-up or later in Settings.
You can change every onboarding choice later in Settings.
3. Daily routine (5–15 minutes)

4. Train a specific domain
- Menu Train (
/train). - Pick a domain from the list (e.g. multiplication).
- See Your level in that domain.
- Start a series — the system picks questions at your level.
- After the series your level may go up, down or stay (based on performance).
5. Ranked play (Elo)
- Menu Ranked (
/ranked). - Click start — you get 15 questions, 150 seconds.
- Do not switch tabs during play (anti-cheat).
- After the series:
- Elo rating change,
- league update,
- quest progress.
- Check the result under Leaderboards → Global.
No-clock alternative: Play → Quick play (10 questions, Elo with lighter anti-cheat).
6. Daily challenge
- Menu Daily challenge (
/daily). - Remember: one attempt per day, same set for everyone.
- 20 questions, 180 seconds.
- After finishing you see your score and daily leaderboard placement.
- Come back tomorrow for a new set.
7. Add a friend and duel
Friend
- Friends → enter username → Add.
- They accept under Invitations.
Duel
- Duels → New duel.
- Set difficulty, domains, question count.
- Share a link or pick a friend.
- Both click Ready → play synchronously.
8. Join a club
- Clubs → Join club.
- Enter a friend's code or accept an invitation.
- Inside the club: weekly challenge, member ranking, invite more friends.
9. Configure your profile
- Settings (
/settings):- language,
- profile privacy,
- visible statistics,
- global leaderboard visibility.
- Profile — check achievements and domain progress.
10. Exam mode
- Play → Exam (
/exam). - Pick difficulty (grades 4–6 through exam level).
- Select domains and question count (10–20).
- Solve without hints — like a real test.
- Awards XP but does not change rating.
